"FROM my point of view" is usully used when describing something visually seen from a certain position/place/point in space.
Example: "From my point of view there are only three soldiers on the mountain".
"IN my point of view" is usually used to refer to one's own opinion about a topic.
Example: "In my point of view smoking should be banned in all public places".
