Hi Furkan, you can think of a spectrum as a continuum of attributes that increase in magnitude within a certain subject. For example, if you are taking an English class, at the beginning of the spectrum would be a beginning English 1 class, at "the other end of the spectrum" would the final English class (maybe English 10). Hope this response is also helpful.

It means "opposite". A teacher of mine once said: "I am old and it's hard for me to get up that early (we students had asked him to shift the schedule). I am at the other end of the spectrum."

Hi Furkan, the other end of the spectum' means the complete opposite. An example would be the weather, it can be -25°c or 40°c therefore this would be the other end of the spectum. Hope this helps!
