The best piece of advice was told to me by my grandfather and it is "go ahead, you already have the NO" and it's true that if you live with fear, then you won't enjoy life. Don't waste your time thinking about other people’s opinions.

Good job, just be careful with your use of articles, like the word “the”. In English we don’t use “the” before all nouns like in Spanish. For example it should be “you won’t enjoy life.” Not “you won’t enjoy THE life”
