I prefer different types of movies such as comedy and science fiction. Comedy movies tend to boost our moods, but science fiction movies are ("are" needed to connect both ideas) just as ("as" needed when you compare things) interesting to watch as if ("if" needed to specify this is a hypothetical/imaginary situation) in someone's (need preposition "in". "Somebody" still works and makes sense, but "someone" always sounds more natural.) imagination. For instance, I liked the series of Harry Potter. Movies and TV programs are made (including "up" means that the movies and programs are not real in this situation) to fill our leisure times, and they must be cheerful or positive.
