Hello!
Do we say: Did you hear me say or did you hear me saying? I've found on the web that the first one is correct(or at least the most common and natural to ears). However, there is a book titled; Did you hear me crying. I'm confused. I've also heard in a film somebody 'say'; Do you want to see me play. Which is correct and could you give some explanation as to what grammar rule applies to it.
Thanks a lot!
