Is this sentence correct ?
He treats people most politely in his class.
Why is there not a the in this sentence before the word most.

The sentence is correct. The word "most" in this case is used as an adverb of degree, like "very" and not as a superlative, as in "the most polite person". It is a rare but possible use of the word and is usually formal.
