The question should begin with "What," not with "How." Better: In English, what do you call a person who eats a lot? Answer: A glutton.

A gannet, a glutton, and an overeater, all describe someone who eats to excess. A less derogatory description would be someone who has a healthy appetite. Foodie, suggests someone who really enjoys their food, buy not necessarily to excess, they will often obsess on the quality and process of the preparation of the food.

A more kind answer would be "a foodie," which is someone who really enjoys food.
