Well, I don't think so. There are a lot of benefits. The Kid can learn not only about another culture but also find what cultural differences between a foreign language and own language. Also, learning early age makes it easier to stick with proper pronunciation. Other than that, good for their brain, therefore many primary schools adapted to employ native English teachers nowadays
