If I had spare money, I would't buy things, I would invest in financial investements or in my education (the best investement ever). But If I had a family probably I would spend a little with them.

If I had spare money, I would't buy things, but instead I would invest in financial investments or in my education (the best investment ever). However, if I had a family, I would probably spend a little on/for them.
For careful writing, “however” is used at the beginning of a sentence before the first independent clause and “but” is used after the first independent clause. I like coffee, but my wife prefers tea. I like coffee. However, my wife prefers tea.

A book is always a good investment in yourself, we have a saying in English, the difference between you now and in five years is the people you meet and the books you read!
