You usually use fast when talking about the speed that something goes and quick when talking about periods of time.
- He ran too fast for me to catch him.
- So I stopped and had a quick snack.

You could say both. Using “quickly” is a bit awkward to my ear. Also, grammatically, it is probably better to add “him” to the first sentence.
