Confidence and conviction Are these words have the same meaning? Though i haven't heard something like "self-conviction" and i figure this is incorrect. Explain me, please.

Are these verbs synonyms? Repair, fix, mend - these words confuse me a bit. I'd like to know when i have to use each one.

What is the best way to learn phrasal verbs? I started to learn phrasal verbs and this seemed quite challenging for me. So, maybe someone tell me its own experience how to do that effectively?

Understanding fluent speech I've been learning English for more than six months and i've noticed that real conversation is much better than video with subtitles or something else. I'm living in the country where the native English speakers stay so rarely. I have heard real conversation only three or four times but i didn't participate in them. The last case was at my work. Two workers were talking to each other and i understood their well despite of that then i had studied for approximately three months. So, i'm still making a lot of mistakes. Judge me strictly ;)

English books for intermediate level

What books should i read? I really enjoy reading. Recommend me please something not too difficult for my level. I want to find a lot of dialogues there because as for me it helps to improve speaking skills.

On the menu or in the menu? If i understand right when i'm talking about books, newspapers, journals, i should to use "IN" preposition and "ON" when i mean an electronic devices. But i saw signs like "on the menu". But menu this isn't an electronic device.

Could anyone explain me when to use "worth" and "value"? I was looking fot this information on the internet but i haven't understood so yet.

Give me some pieces of advice How to pronounce "s" after "th" sound. For example in words strengths, depths etc.This is quite difficult for me.
