Quando estava no Taiwan, me surpreendida de descrobí que a "privilegia branca" existe nesse país asiatico. E depois descobrí também existe nos outros países asiaticos como Japão, Corea, Vietnam, Thailand e China.

No Taiwan, há tantas empressas advertencias contratam pessoas brancas para ser as modelas. As pessoas brancas são achados melhores lá só por causa a raça dela.

Há discriminação em contratar professores ingles. Tem tantas escolas que oferecem aulas do ingles que contratar especificamente as pessoas brancas para ensinar ingles e a raça é o primeiro fator decisivo para contratá-los. Não se importa se essas pessoas estão não boas em ingles e não tem experiência em ensinar, contanto que podem falar ingles e são brancas! Na realidade, é ilegal porque o Taiwan tem a policía que só pode contratar professores que chegam dos algunos países somente como UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand e Africa do Sul. As escolas mais grandes  obedecem esse lei. Esse lei também é aplicado nos outros trabalhos que exigem ingles. Mas esse lei ainda é pratica de discriminação porque a nacionalidade de um professor ou funcionario quem deve falar ingles não deveria ser um fator decisivo. Os fatores decisivos deveriam ser a experiência educacional e trabalho somente, bem como a qualidade do seu metodo de ensinar (para os professores) e claro seu habilidade em falar o usar esse idioma. 

Acho que essa pratica é horrível e ridiculoso! Nas Filipinas, tantas pessoas falar ingles muito bem sem estavam ensinado por nenhuma pessoa branca ou por nenhuma pessoa chega desses países. E claro, é porque a sistema e a sociedade nas Filipinas é differente se trate de usando ingles. 

Se o Taiwan realmente gosta de alcançar seu objetivo de ser um país bilingual em mandarim e ingles, deveria consertar muitos partes das suas polícias relevante. Primeiramente deveria mudar seu preconceito e sua percepção de ingles.
