Los Estados Unidos es muy diverse en cuanto a culturas y idiomas. Diecinueve por ciento de las personas que viven en los Estados Unidos son hispanos pero es importante a entender que los Estados Unidos no necesariamente aceptan su diversidad cultural. Por ejemplo, los maestros en las escuelas alientan a los estudiantes a hablar solo inglés sin importar de qué país sean.

Vu que mon pays est un archipelago, il y a une forte diversité entre les langues locales. Je n'apprécie pas qu'on les appelle parfois des 'dialects,' alors qu'elles sont bien distinguées avec leurs propres systèmes de grammaire et de vocabulaire.

Ces langues peuvent se distinguer en fonction de la région où elles sont dominantes. Par exemple, 'cebuano' est la langue particulière de la ville Cebu. Il y a aussi 'ilocano' dont les locuteurs se trouvent à la région d'Ilocos. J'ai donné seulement deux exemples sur l'ensemble des langues philippines, mais il y en a beaucoup.

Je ne connais pas bien l'histoire du développement de ces langues. Mais la langue qui domine, à part l'anglais, et tagalog. On l'entend partout, et surtout dans la région capitale, Manille. Le gouvernement l'a décrété la langue nationale le siècle dernier, une décision qui continue à faire polémique au sein des cebuano-phones. On parle parfois de l'impérialisme du tagalog. 

C'est compliqué, mais, de toute façon, je trouve que ça vaut le coup de les apprendre et que toutes ces langues sont vraiment belles. L'anglais devraient être l'ennemi commun (je plaisante à moitié).

In Belgium, it's really diversified. In fact, we speak three different languages: French, Dutch and German. So when you look at a job, it's really important to speak one of these languages in addition to your mother tongue.
However, I studied English first at school. Then, I learned Dutch. I think that it's a difficult language and there isn't a lot of country where you can speak Dutch. With English, it's different. You can communicate with people around the world.
There are some "clichés" about these different parts.
For example, in Wallonia (the french part), people are lazier than in Flanders.
In Flanders (the dutch part), they are more rigoreous and courageous.

Diversity of people make my country more beautiful in addition to situated great hill sites and bluish seas around the island. Sri Lanka has more than 2000 years great history alongside with good and bad ears. Great evolution of culture has started after Mahinda maha thero visit to Sri Lanka with 18 different occupational groups. There after Tamil Indian kings attacked few time made huge impact to existing culture. As a result of that Hindus and Muslims are slowly mixed with Sinhalese with their believes and traditions. Europeans were the ultimate nations to attack the island and conclude with burgers. Today all the ethnicities, religions and casts  living together with grate harmony and helpfulness. I hope that's the greatest thing to see as humans!!!

The state France needed more than a millennium to construct himself.  It has known many invasions.
It was built from a mixture of several tribes : celtic people, franc tribe, the huns invasion etc...
For example 50 years before Jesus Christ our leader Vercingetorix was defeated by the roman empire, by Julius Caesar.
Other example, the Moors have invaded France many years around 730 after Jesus Christ.
Britain people visited us regularly between 1337 to 1453, it was called the Hundred years' War.
It seems France was a very hospitable country :)

All this to say that this territory has known a lot of influences, you can find these multiple influences into the architecture for example.
The castles of the Loire are of the renaissance style.
For example the basilica Saint-Sernin in Toulouse is of Romanesque art.
The cathedral "Notre-Dame de Paris" who burnt recently is mainly based on Gothic art etc...

To simplify, some centuries ago France was just an area around Paris, then the territories around Paris were aggregated over the centuries to form the current france.

This a unified country now, a unified state with some strikes and protests :) speaking only one language, the french language. 
But each region has its own influence and sometimes its own dialect.
For example the region "Alsace-Lorraine" in the north-east of france has a germanic influence. The region "savoie" has an italian influence.
Catalonia and the Basque Country have Spanish influences, and it exists a dialect called "the catalan". The region "Bretagne" has celtic influence and has its own dialect talked by some people: the breton.

Some people say that france is Europe because somewhere france has in her a piece of each european country.

Well, in fact my country is very diverse, much more than what people tend to think.
We have 4 official languages even though three of them are minority languages that are spoken just in the region where they are official.
I live in one of these regions that have a second language. Having two languages is not alway so beautiful as one can think. There are always people who use the diversity to do politics and to create a conflict where there wasn't anyone.
I have always thought that diversity is good and it enriches a country. Each language is worth and no one should be over the others. Knowing another languages, cultures or ways of thinking can be very interesting, even if these differences are in the same country. That's not a threat to the essence and to the unity of one country. That's a cultural heritage.
