Herkese merhaba! Ben Ezgi! Hello, I’m Ezgi — a certified Turkish teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. If you’re starting Turkish and feeling a bit nervous or unsure where to begin, you’re in the right place. I enjoy helping students build a strong base and feel comfortable using Turkish little by little. I have a Teaching Turkish as a Second Language Certificate (TÖMER) and a TESOL Diploma. We work with real-life topics, music and small fun activities to keep learning natural and enjoyable. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy fantasy books, anime, exploring mythology and working on my sewing projects.

I focus on creating a comfortable and encouraging learning space where students can try, speak and experiment with Turkish without pressure. I encourage students to try, speak and not be afraid of mistakes — and I often turn challenges into small, fun moments during the lesson. My goal is to help you use Turkish more naturally after every lesson.

At the beginning, I like to understand what you want to focus on and how you feel about learning Turkish. From there, we build your Turkish step by step with clear materials and plenty of practice. We learn new words and structures by using them right away, through short and longer sentences and real-life situations. I like to turn challenging sentences into small, fun tasks and give you hints along the way, so learning feels active and enjoyable. I also share extras for self-study, if you would like some extra support between lessons. **If you don’t see a suitable time in my calendar but our schedules are close, feel free to message me and I’ll do my best to help.**

I had around 50 lessons with Ezgi on another platform before she moved here. That is a testament on how good her lessons are and how comfortable she makes me feel! ^^ For someone without prior knowledge of Turkish, I understood everything with ease and she is very patient in explaining certain grammatical rules that might not exists in English with plenty of examples. She even went out of the way to prepare extra materials just so I’d understand through context. It has been a pleasant ride with her and I can’t wait to start on a new journey with her on this platform. ^^ Derslerimizi her zaman heyecanla bekliyorum.🤗

I really like studying Turkish with Ezgi. She is very adoptive to my needs and creates special dialogues according to the places I go everyday. We’ve got 2 different books and she is always adapting materials for my everyday life. It’s always fun and useful for me.
