I had such a great time with Tammy sensei during our first trial lesson that I decided to continue learning with her. Tammy sensei is funny in the best possible way, which makes me feel relaxed and engaged throughout the lesson. She always catches my mistakes and helps me correct them. Even though today’s lesson was only an hour long, I found myself reflecting on what I had learned afterward, and I realized just how helpful the lesson had been. I really appreciate how she makes every lesson both enjoyable and meaningful.

Tammy is a fantastic Japanese tutor! She was incredibly helpful when I was preparing for a trip months ago. After a long break from studying, I was nervous about how much I’d forgotten, but Tammy’s encouraging and reassuring presence made all the difference. She helped me realize I remembered more than I thought and expertly assessed where we should pick back up. If you are looking for a tutor who is both highly effective and supportive, Tammy is phenomenal!

Tammy 先生 provides a friendly learning environment where I feel at ease practising speaking and learning from my mistakes. Today we reviewed some grammar points which I now feel more comfortable using. Thank you, Tammy 先生! Thank you!

Sensei is always a fun and dedicated teacher - very knowledgeable - I would fully recommend her to students wanting to study Japanese - but don't take my slots! :-)

Always fun to have lessons with Tammy sensei. She has a great sense of humor, very patient and encouraging, and I’m always happy to see my stories/ideas getting through in Japanese!

As always, Tammy sensei is awesome!
