Anka

I have now spent more than a year taking lessons from Anka biweekly and have noticed a dramatic improvement in my Polish proficiency - from basic, barely A1 last year to a strong A2 level now. She is excellent at sensing when I can continue the conversation in Polish, and when I am struggling too much in Polish and we need to revert to English to explain a key vocabulary or grammar point. I plan to continue learning with Anka for some time into the future, as I am very pleased with my progress!

Every lesson I’ve had with Anka has been great. She is very patient, has a sense of humor and is great at making you feel at ease. She guides and explains when you make a mistake and gives you confidence in your ability to speak Polish. Would highly recommend lessons with her.

She adapts to my interests and needs, and you can tell she puts effort into planning each lesson with questions and topics. The lessons are well structured and enjoyable. The teacher is patient and well prepared. We use a great book that keeps the class engaging and easy to follow. I always get plenty of speaking practice and learn a lot each time.
