He tomado clases con Denys por casi tres meses. Denys es un tipazo - hemos tenido mucho diversión en nuestras clases. Le sugiero como maestro para estudiantes de español de nivel intermedio o mejor - especialmente si quieres aprender la cultura y jerga de mexicanos jovenes. Pregúntale sobre su vida anterior como vaquero! Mientras que estoy aprendiendo español - planeo seguir tomando clases con Denys.

Denys is the comprehensible input enjoyer's dream teacher. He is super easy to talk to and understands the benefits of comprehensible input, having used it himself to learn English. Truly a master at conversation practice. After two 1-hour lessons, I cannot recommend him enough for some casual, easy-going chats. Never a dull moment with this dude! Looking forward to chatting with him a lot more in the future!!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Dennis (Denys). He had a number of very interesting strategies regarding comprehensible input and understanding the difference between active and passive learning of a new language. I was also surprised that he was able to understand my jokes in Spanish. This was important because I know that somebody could probably correct every other sentence I was using, but since my goal was to build up confidence and pronunciation, he mostly offered up corrections where I was making some major mistakes only. I’m looking forward to having some future lessons and building off of the suggestions that Dennis gave me.

Denys is a great tutor. He is willing to go at the students pace and is very friendly, attentive, and patient. He creates a perfect stress free environment so you can improve without worry and have fun.

I have really been enjoying my lessons with Denys. His approach of using stories to focus on a particular grammar skill keeps things entertaining.
