Ciao a tutti! I'm Marina and I'm Italian. I love teaching and meeting people from all over the world!
I have two main interests: languages and music.
I love language learning because it's one of the best means to learn more about other cultures, to expand one’s knowledge and unlock new part of the world, to view current events and global issues from other points of view, not to mention that the language learning process per se can be extremely captivating and exciting.
And now, music: I play the piano and have always listened to music in several languages. In fact, that's how I started learning English. Also, I like Italian singer-songwriters. My favorite Italian musician is Lucio Corsi!Ik als leerkracht

During our conversation classes, you put your speaking abilities into practice. We can either have a spontaneous conversation or we can decide in advance one or more topics to talk about, I'll always come prepared. Also, you can submit texts, exercises and things you already prepared and I’ll give you feedback.
If you're booking a General Italian class, we will use different kind of materials and I'll help you speaking as soon as possible while building your grammar and vocabulary knowledge.

This was my first session with Marina. She had prepared various materials to evaluate my Italian. After reading each paragraph, she asked me several questions about them in Italian.
Marina noted down all the phrases or words that I didn’t know or mistakenly said. She was very attentive, encouraging, and patient.
I highly recommend Marina to all students who are serious about learning Italian.

Had a good talk about my last holiday. Marina was engaging and helpful with the grammar mistakes I made. By the end of the lesson she provided me with an evaluation about my progress.
