Stephen is easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable speaking German. He’d seemed that way in his video, and he’s like that in real life. For me, this is the most important quality in a teacher. He speaks perfect German, with a nice accent. And as someone who learned German himself, he has a feel for the difficulties a learner encounters in grammar and pronunciation and the explanations that make sense to a learner. I’m happy to have found my new German teacher.
