Richard

I’ve been learning English with Richard for almost two years, and it’s been much more than lessons — it changed my relationship with the language. When we started, I was scared to speak and obsessed with being “correct.” Richard helped me shift from fear of mistakes to speaking freely and adjusting as I go. Now I can self-correct calmly, without shame or feeling judged. Richard’s background as a counsellor and yoga teacher shows up naturally in his teaching — grounded, steady support that quietly builds confidence over time. Two years ago I couldn’t imagine running a workshop in English with an English-speaking client. This year I did my first one. What I love most is that we don’t study rules in a traditional way. We talk, read books, explore real topics — and confidence grows in small steps, through natural immersion. English stopped feeling like a test and became something I can truly make mine. If you want to learn to speak with ease, not just “get it right,” Richard is rare.

I really liked how the class flowed. The feeling I had during the session was more like having a good chat with a friend, with interesting topics and the opportunity to talk, plus you feel comfortable because Richard is very patient and attentive. I will definitely book more classes with him 👍🏻
