Hello, my name is Michiel, and I'm from the Netherlands. I was born to a Dutch mother and an English father. I am well-travelled and have lived in several countries, including the Netherlands, England, Spain, and China.
I’m very passionate about different cultures and languages, and I speak several languages, including Spanish, German, Dutch, and Mandarin Chinese, as well as basic French.

I am a fully certified ESL tutor, holding a CELTA, a 120-hour TEFL certificate, the TKT Young Learners qualification, and a Bachelor of Science degree. I have over 15 years of teaching experience — 10 years in physical classrooms in China and the past 5 years as a full-time online tutor.
