I take a coaching approach to teaching, focusing on helping my students practice their English skills both inside and outside the classroom. My lessons are always tailored to your goals—whether you want to improve your writing, work on reading comprehension, role-play real-life scenarios, or just practice speaking in a natural, conversational way.
I aim to strike the right balance between professionalism and approachability, creating a comfortable and respectful learning environment. I provide a variety of lessons tailored to your specific goals, including trial lessons, natural conversation practice, academic and creative writing improvement, and business English. My lessons are ideal for learners at B1 to C2 levels who want to focus on real-world language use and practical skills. Since joining italki in 2021, I’ve taught over 2,166 lessons to 359 students, with a perfect attendance record and excellent feedback. I hold a 150-hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Certificate, and my students appreciate my ability to adapt lessons to their interests. I would like to emphasize the erudition of the teacher, which helps turn the lesson into a dialogue on a topic that is interesting to the student. I also like that Tony tailors the lessons to the student's needs and changes the teaching method to find one that suits the student better.

Tony is a patient, efficient and considerate teacher. In this lesson, he guided me through the process of improving and rewriting a personal statement for graduate school application. I have learned how to tell my story in a more engaging way, an important skill not only in school but also in the workplace.
