Yuya-sensei is an excellent instructor! We recently began verb conjugations, which is Lesson 3 in the Genki book, and his breakdown of the subject matter could not be done more expertly. As I now depart from the aid of using the book’s romaji in the first two lessons to read, and delve more into the difficult sections of Genki, I can say I feel very confident and reassured progressing knowing that Yuya-sensei is my teacher.

I've had lessons with Yuya for a while now. He is a very patient and motivating teacher. He also helped me prepare for JLPT exam, which I also passed. He knows how to adapt to different levels and he's been very helpful until now. I would definitely recommend him.

Yuya sensei encourages conversation and helps build confidence in speaking. He is a patient listener and will correct you gently, as often as it takes for you to get it right. He also has a knack for coming up with interesting conversation topics. We have been splitting our time - 50% conversation, 50% grammar - and that works very well. I really enjoy these sessions.

Yuya is an excellent teacher - patient and kind, and he clearly enjoys his lessons. You get the sense that he is invested in helping you learn. I have really appreciated the time he has taken to help me figure out the best path forward for my own language learning. Super guy as well. Definitely recommended!

Yuyaさん’s lesson’s are really enjoyable! I appreciate how easy he is to talk to, he asks lots of questions and is interested in the answers! He’s friendly and outgoing, so it’s easy to relax and enjoy the time. If you want some Japanese conversation practice, give Yuyaさん’s lessons a try!

Yuya sensei is very good at creating a natural environment for conversation. I appreciate his efforts to make language learning interesting and enjoyable. And he is very good at both conversational and more traditional, textbook-focused teaching techniques. Definitely recommended!
