Lingvemulo furioze indiferenta: more than 10 years of teaching and learning experience I love geography, travelling and language learning. I am here for the great pleasure I have when I share my knowledge and speaking skills. Furthermore, I am most fond of when my students start creating in the languages that they learn, there is at least one new YouTuber, one poet and one fiction translator among them. I am a teacher of Esperanto, teaching online since 2006. I have a KER-ekzameno certification as well as Russian Esperanto Union certificate for teaching Esperanto. I also teach offline in my home city, St. Petersburg, or at Esperanto-events. Russian is my native language. I am trained as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language, I have also studied Linguistics and Journalism at the St. Petersburg State University. I learn two Slavic languages — Polish and Bulgarian — and that gives me lots of insights on my own language and how I can explain it better to my students. In my lessons I pay most attention to the speaking practice. During the lesson I will note your frequent grammatical errors and suggest right phrases for practice, not just point out the mistake. I had a great first conversational lesson with Vjaĉeslav. He’s extremely knowledgeable about Esperanto and was able to share a more nuanced view of several grammatical points even within our first lesson. I found his input and commentary very helpful, as well as his broader perspective on the Esperanto community.
