He creates a non-judgmental learning environment where one feels comfortable to speak and make mistakes. He is patient to allow you time to get your words out. He's a fantastic, engaging teacher.

Es un excelente profesor! Tiene mucha paciencia y adapta sus clases a mis necesidades. Que sepa español es muy útil a la hora de entender lo que quiero expresar. Hablamos en frances durante toda la clase, lo cual acelera el proceso de aprendizaje (aun cuando mis conocimientos son muy basicos). Lo recomiendo 100%.

I just finished my first lesson with Thibaut and it was wonderful. I was extremely nervous for it as it was my first class on italki, but he put me at easy quickly and before I knew it we were speaking in French!

Thibault is outstanding. He is reliable, and puts students at ease with his interpersonal skills. He has many resources to give in support of whatever one might be learning about in regards to making progress to a new level of ability. He really know well how to identify a student's level and can also judge materials that have been handed to a student. Outstanding performance.

when I say that the thought of doing work calls in French would have made me break out in a cold sweat just a few years ago, I am 100% serious. now, after four years of lessons with Thibaut, I am doing things I didn't think I could do, not only work calls but also travelling to France and Canada alone. He is a very humble/kind person and I'm sure he would say that a lot of this is down to me, but I truly believe that his patience, commitment to his teaching, and his positive attitude have made a massive difference to me and my language-learning journey.  Merci encore Thibaut, j'apprécie énormément ton aide!
