Emi

I've been taking classes with Emi- sensei for almost a year now. She continues to show me that she is patient, kind, and such a joy to learn from. I look forward to our sessions together and will continue to learn from her.

Recently, I got the JLPT N5 results and I passed it. For a Portuguese speaker that knew nothing about Japanese language one year ago, this is a great achievement. But I would not have achieved it with the great teaching from Emi sensei. I really appreciate having lessons with her.

I am having so much fun learning with Emi sensei! It truly makes my day brighter. Emi sensei has an amazing sense of figuring out where a person is at in their learning process and zooms in to a sweet spot where you are challenged but not overwhelmed. For the longest time I was afraid to learn with a sensei because I didn't feel confident in my own learning ability - but Emi sensei's excellent tutoring makes the hour pass so quickly like learning and laughing with a friend. Wish I started earlier!

I’ve really enjoyed learning Japanese with Emi-San. She is fun, encouraging, and always brings such a positive energy to every lesson. She teaches at a great pace — not too fast, not too slow — which makes it easy to stay motivated and actually absorb the material. I especially appreciate how she incorporates normal, everyday sentences using the vocabulary and grammar I’ve already learned. It really helps me see how everything connects and makes the language feel practical and usable. I truly look forward to each lesson and hope to continue learning with her for a long time. I’m very grateful for her guidance and support!
