Hello! My name is Hinda and I am originally from Austria. I’m almost finished with my degree in Health Psychology and have been working as a German tutor on iTalki for nearly three years, with over 1000 lessons taught. I’m passionate about meaningful conversations, the human mind, and how language can be a tool for expression, connection, and self-confidence. Outside of teaching, I love surfing, yoga, and having deep, intellectual conversations about society, identity, and culture. I currently live in Nicaragua with my dog and am learning Spanish myself – so I know what it’s like to be in your shoes as a language learner. My mission is to help you speak German with confidence As a teacher, I’m patient, attentive, and highly intuitive. I quickly understand what each student needs and I’m great at asking the right questions to spark real conversations. I believe that language learning is most effective when it's authentic, fun, and emotionally engaging. I create a warm and supportive learning environment where you can speak freely, make mistakes, and grow beyond them. I always encourage my students to think critically and express their own views – because language is not just grammar, it’s personality. My lessons are focused on conversation and vocabulary expansion. We talk about real-world, meaningful topics such as identity, mental health, relationships, gender roles, culture, and more – always adapted to your level (A2 to C2). Habe wieder ein ganz tolles Gespräch mit Hinda über Themen, die relevant und wichtig für mich sind. Einfach gesagt, diese Stunde hat nicht nur Spaß gemacht sondern auch etwas wirksam für meine Deutschfähigkeiten gemacht.
