Halló! I'm a passionate educator with a rich academic background, holding Bachelor's degrees in both Law and Philosophy from the University of Iceland. My fascination with Chinese culture -- and the Chinese language -- led me to pursue an MA in Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University, one of the most prestigious institutions in China. Currently, I am further deepening my expertise by working towards a PhD in Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University. On the side, I teach both Icelandic and English.Ik als leerkracht
I am passionate about languages and education. I have experience teaching both Icelandic and English, as well as teaching philosophy at the university level.
My teaching philosophy is centered around communication. I believe in the power of oral proficiency as a foundation for language learning, and thus, my lessons are predominantly focused on helping you become confident and fluent in speaking Icelandic. My primary aim is to teach you Icelandic as it's genuinely spoken on the streets of Reykjavík.
