Rocio Fluency

I keep coming back for classes with Rocio because she offers something rare & unique. Not only does she have all the fundamentals required to teach like the delicate combination of encouraging words and critical feedback, the ability to converse & make one feel comfortable in conversation, but she is trained in phonetics and the sounds of Spanish and actively trains herself to develop the ability to teach others how to come much closer to having a native-like accent. It's been fun and looking forward to more classes.

I wish I did this series of lessons a lot earlier! I higly recommend this course if you have troubles with the accent or even if you want to take it to the next level. I am an advanced french speaker and I still had lots of things to correct and learn. The lessons are very well organized,structured and have a goal to focus every time (lessons with prepared material.) Also, they are fun and engaging. They offered me a revision of the accent rules, practice those, correct bad habits,be able to recognize wrongly pronounced words and phrases. This course gave me the tools to use to move forwards by myself. After years in italki I have to say someone rarely finds lessons of this quality. Great work Rocio!

After doing the initial 10-lesson package of more structured pronunciation work, I continued to work with Rocio on pronunciation. We are able to focus on specific issue with sounds and rhythms that I struggle with and I can see that I've continued to progress. She is very patient and encouraging, and finds many different ways to help you improve different issues.

Lessons with Rocio are great. I’m learning a lot, and quickly, and feel like I’m really benefiting. It seems like a very efficient way to learn…I should have started these lessons long ago! Thanks hugely!

Rocio is really extraordinary - I'm so glad I took her pronunciation course, and I wish I'd started it sooner! Her method is unique among all the teachers I've tried, with a genuine understanding of rhythm and sound. There are some French sounds that I couldn't even hear before working with Rocio, and the French people in my life really noticed the improvement once I started working with her. Highly recommend!

I just completed my first lesson with Rocio and it was fantastic! She set an amazing tone for our future lessons. Her teaching style is very approachable and encouraging. I feel like I've already learned so much. I cannot wait until our next lesson.
