Conversation time is so much fun. It feels like talking to a friend. Sensei always pushes me to try new grammar and teaches me how to read different kanji. I make so many mistake and she is super nice and sweet about it.

I've been taking まきさんfor over 6 months now and always enjoy the learning environment she provides by making me speak lots and lots. she takes an interest in you and asks questions to make sure you practice output and grammar. would recommend for anyone looking for a kind and friendly teacher to help you improve in conversation.

日本語： マキさんと会話して、とても明るい人だと分かってきました。話の流れは強制されたとはまったく感じませんでしたし、新しい友達を作ったような気がしました。言葉が分からなかった時は、英語で質問を問いかけて、マキさんが説明してくれたから、問題ありませんでしたし、考える時間が必要だった時も優しく与えてくれました。次回も楽しみにまっています！ English: The first conversation I had with Maki made me realize that she's a cheerful person and she feels approachable. This made the conversation flow quite naturally and, even if at times I couldn't express myself due to a lack of words or needed more time to think, she either helped me with explanations or allowed me to take as much time as required. I'm looking forward to talking again with her.

always a fun lesson with maki, i find her speaking relatively easy to understand for my level. Fluid and interesting conversation. and in the recap i find the new vocab we covered very helpful.
