I had a lot of fun with Kyoka san, she keeps it all relaxed and casual that you don't feel any pressure. She's prepared and has little flashcards to get your mind thinking and provides you optional homework to get you improve! Had a lot of fun!

I just had my trial lesson with Kyoka-sensei, and it was fantastic! I mentioned to her that I was a complete beginner with some forgotten basics, but she was so encouraging. She expertly assessed my level and tailored the lesson perfectly. We jumped right into practical and useful Japanese, and I was amazed that by the end of the 30 minutes, I was already forming simple sentences! I wholeheartedly recommend Kyoka to anyone at any level. She is a gifted teacher who makes learning Japanese enjoyable and effective. I can't wait for my next lesson!

I've done 3 lessons with Kyouka and I've really enjoyed them so far! She is very organised and prepares her lessons with a variety of materials and exercises that have made every lesson I've done with her effective and fun. She creates an environment that allows for me to have confidence in speaking Japanese, even when she needs to correct mistakes. I'm looking forward to continuing to study with her!
