Originally from the South of France, I've been a teacher since 2019 in Paris area where I started by teaching history and geography for French National Education.
Now, after obtaining a master degree for teaching French to foreigners, I'm teaching French since 2023 in the city where I'm based: Seoul.
I'm a passionate teacher, always eager to teach and help students to go further into their French journey.Ik als leerkracht
Convinced by the importance of my job, i'm a dynamic and motivated teacher for years with diverse publics (middle school, high school, adults...).
I always wanted to keep in mind the well being of my students when they study with me. Also I'm thrilled to share with my students the wonderful language than french is.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My teaching style is modern and dynamic !
The lesson begin with a correction of the homeworks from last class.
After that, I do a quick recall on the vocabulary we saw on the last class (always necessary 🙂)
The lesson is focused on four goals :
- Vocabulary 📒
- Communication 💬
- Grammar 📚
- Cultural point 🇫🇷
I never start with grammar. The lesson plan ends with an oral work (oral presentation or conversation).
👉 For levels A1 and A2, the exercise instructions and the grammar points are writen in English or in the language the student understands more than French.
👉 For intermediate or advanced, I can translate the grammar points because it's usually very technical!Mijn lesmateriaal

I know Virgile through my brother. After studying with him, I feel very satisfied with my choice. He is an incredibly dedicated and passionate teacher. He is very patient and always happy to explain things that I don't understand. He corrects my pronunciation and grammar mistakes carefully. Besides French, I also hear about French culture and he also teaches me native slangs. He makes learning French truly enjoyable. I came across Virgile’s profile when he was new on italki—his profile was fresh. After watching his well-made introduction video, I decided to take a chance and booked a full package with him. I’m happy with my decision! He makes learning French enjoyable, he is patient, and tailors lessons to fit my needs, whether it’s improving my speaking skills, understanding grammar, or learning expressions that native speakers use. Along the way, he also teaches slang words that you actually hear in real-life conversations. He creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which makes it easy to stay motivated and confident while learning. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great French teacher!

I’ve had a few lessons with Virgile and am having a great time! Virgile is patient, encourages me to learn things I wouldn’t learn on my own and the lessons are well structured with a mix of grammar, speaking, reading and listening. I hope to keep learning with Virgile!

Virgile is a fun, engaging, and professional teacher! I’m doing his history course and he uses high quality teaching materials (from texts to oral and written exercises, podcasts to videos) leading to genuinely interesting debate. I’ve found it’s a great rounded way to refresh my french. I heartily recommend!
