Hello! I am Yukiko. I'm a Japanese language teacher living in Japan.
I used to study English as a hobby, and through that, my world expanded in amazing ways. I was able to talk to people from different countries, make friends abroad, and even welcome some of them .
Talking with people from different cultures helped me understand not only language, but also different ways of thinking and living. It changed my outlook on life.
I truly believe that learning a language is not just about wordsβit's also about learning culture, understanding others, and forming real connections.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time in nature. I enjoy camping, hiking, and playing outdoors with my kids.Ik als leerkracht
I obtained my Japanese teaching certification. This certification changed my perspective on teaching Japanese as a foreign language. While using Japanese as a native speaker felt natural, teaching it required a different approach.
