Hello! I’m Jin, a certified Korean teacher with 9 years of experience. I’ve taught Korean since 2016 in schools, an immigrant center, and online since 2022. I hold a Master’s degree in Korean Language Education and can communicate in Korean, English, and conversational Spanish.
I think learning Korean should be meaningful, practical, and matched to your pace. In my classes, you’ll learn how Korean is actually used in everyday life—not just textbook sentences. I provide plenty of speaking practice so even slow learners can build confidence.

My language level is very weird given my on-and-off self-study, and Hye-jin was patient and understanding. She was able to adapt materials so that we could see where my level was and what I needed to learn and what areas I could skip. It was an amazing experience, and I am looking forward to learning more!

This is my second class with Jin선생님 and I am already feeling much more confident about my progress. After we went over my Korean level in our first class, we tailored our next sessions according to my goals, as well as where my strengths and weaknesses lie. She is very patient and supportive, always making sure to explain any ambiguity and double checking if I can understand the concepts we're working with. i lost count of the number of lessons I had. 선생님 is so attentive and kind and would adjust her lessons to suit you along the way. you learn not only grammar and vocab, but also practise your listening and speaking with her. short homework would be given after each class as well.

I started out as a beginner with minimal knowledge of Hangul. Jin is exceptionally patient, which I appreciate ever so much. She prepares each lesson very well, and there is plenty of time to speak and ask questions. Highly recommended!
