Swahili is among the common languages spoken in Africa, especially in East Africa. I have been teaching Swahili on both a part-time and full-time basis for more than 6 years. Throughout this entire period, I have learned that every student's pace in learning differs from the other. My lessons will involve more of an open discussion between me and my student(s), practicing together through conversations in between the lessons to ensure that the lesson is well understood. Additionally, this ensures that the student is enjoying the process and isn't facing any issues grasping what I am saying, as it's all new to them.
