My name is Agnes Ackermann and I come from Hungary. I am a qualified English and French teacher, but I also graduated as an Economist in Business Administration and Management (BSC), Economist in Marketing (MSC) and I did my postgraduate studies in European Politics. My mothertongue is Hungarian, which I love teaching to non-native speakers. I like travelling and picking up some words from the local language. I have been teaching English, French and Hungarian as a foreign language for more than 20 years now. In my lessons, beside general conversation and language skills, the students also have the opportunity to prepare for the Hungarian Citizenship Interview, the Hungarian Cultural Exam or practise the language of economics and tourism with me. Although the main focus of my lessons is on the development of communication and conversational skills, I also provide the necessary grammar exercises which improve the linguistic competence of the students. The lesson plan is always made up based on the wishes of the learners.Mijn lesmateriaal

I loved the lesson today, especially because I got to learn more about the beautiful Hungarian culture. I am still trying to gain confidence to speak more in Hungarian and less English, but Ági is helping me get there by being so supportive. Thank you!!
