Hello everybody,
It’s so nice to have you here on my profile. Here are a few words about my background.
I grew up in Italy, where I obtained my high school diploma. Then I moved to France, where I graduated in Applied Foreign Languages. After that, I lived for three months in Ireland and another three months in Brazil, where I had the opportunity to improve my language skills.
Technically, I have a C1 English certification, a bachelor’s degree in French, and native knowledge of Italian. In addition, I have Romanian origins and I am currently in Bucharest for an international project.Ik als leerkracht
What I would like to clarify is that I deliberately chose to be a community tutor rather than a traditional teacher.
Even though I have the qualifications that would allow me to be a traditional teacher, during my lessons I prefer to teach languages in a creative way, and I am confident that we will find a path together that will help you achieve your goals.
During my classes, there is no judgment! We are here to learn, ask questions, and be curious. I will do my best to keep you motivated, and we will be a great team!
Another important thing for me is to make sure that we use materials and activities that work for you, since everyone has a different way of learning and absorbing infos. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
Let’s move on to the different types of lessons.
The first crucial step is to get to know each other and your personal objectives.
During the first short lesson, I need to understand your level, your interests, the frequency of our classes, and your ultimate goal. This allows me to prepare lessons that are tailored to what you like and what you want to achieve.
Moving on to the lessons themselves, here is what I have done so far:
Working with songs, theatre scenes, film scenes, book chapters, or quotations
Cultural knowledge: gestures, cultural customs (festivities, beliefs, clothing)
Working with recipes
Working on specific vocabulary related to your field of interest
