Most of my experience has motivated me to become ‘cultural ambassador’ - testing methods, challenge stereotypes, reaching consensus. My ultimate goal is being able to gallivant among thought bubbles through my works and learn, listen, respect others. And I hope this would benefit you to talk in any language, with anyone anywhere. It'd my pleasure to be your guide on this journey. We decided to learn a second language not to 'feel content', but because we are never settled within comfort zone. Thank you to Jason 老师 for your patience in reviewing these often dense political / historical articles that I pick. It was also helpful to review the materials with economics concepts as well. I feel like I'm slowly building up a common vocabulary set of phrases and words that tend to crop up in these sorts of pieces, but it will definitely take time. Jason also brings in interesting anecdotes and other information that is relevant to the material. Looking forward to future classes.

This was great - it was really helpful to work through this historical document together, as some of the grammar and wording was particular to the time-period and informed by Classical Chinese. Jason gave some great pointers on working through historical documents in general as well. Looking forward to continuing to work with Jason!
