Hi, I'm Eric, an English pronunciation teacher specializing in helping Mandarin speakers improve their English pronunciation and speaking clarity. From my 10 years of teaching English in Taiwan, I noticed the same pronunciation difficulties appearing again and again among Chinese-speaking students. Many learners study grammar and vocabulary for years, but still struggle to sound natural or be understood clearly in conversation. My teaching focuses on developing spoken English as a skill. I help students develop the rhythm, stress, sound connections, and speech habits used by native English speakers. In my lessons, we work on: - pronunciation mechanics (tongue, lips, airflow, etc.) - common problem sounds for Mandarin speakers - final consonants - word stress and rhythm - intonation and word connections - speaking naturally and confidently I also provide structured practice materials and exercises to help students continue improving between classes.
