Hi, I am a language enthusiast and was born in Indonesia. I speak English on a daily basis, and you can call me Yohana, or Yo for short. I enjoy sharing my abilities and knowledge and being part of people's journey to success. In my free time, I write my own music, play guitar and keyboard, and regularly write stories on some digital novel platforms. Growing up in a non-English-speaking family, I had no prior experience living in an English-speaking environment. So, it may come as a surprise that I am fluent in English. Over time, I have discovered effective and enjoyable methods that helped me learn a completely different language from my mother tongue. I believe that the key to learning a new language is to start with the student's interests. Learning a language is mainly about communicating naturally. Therefore, my lessons focus on conversation, catering to both complete beginners and students with a fair or good command of English / Indonesian. However, I am also open to your requests.
Below are my class rules:
1. Please arrive on time for your class.
2. Once the class is finished, please confirm its completion.
3. If you need to reschedule, please inform me at least 3 hours before the class starts.

Yohana guided me through a mock interview session, using sample questions and provided constructive feedback. In this session Yohana corrected my expressions, and encouraged me, which greatly boosted my confidence 👍. Yohana’s support made the session both productive and reassuring.
