Discovering a teacher who truly resonates with you is no small feat. You must first understand your own desires, while the teacher seeks to catch a fleeting spark during a trial lesson. To have found Jihun among countless Korean instructors feels like a precious gift of fate. Each class seems to slip by in an instant, yet the lessons linger, unfolding over days of thoughtful reflection. Jihun’s warmth and passion as a teacher shine through every moment, filling the air with ease and joy. What could be a tedious slog through language learning becomes, with Jihun, a vibrant and delightful journey. I find myself wondering how far this path might take me—and I’m thrilled to see where we’ll go together.

I tried learning Korean from few other tutors and even though I learned sentences and words I didn't quite understand what I'm talking about or how to make a sentence that is not just memorised. That often made me feel overwhelmed. With Jihun Kim I finnaly understood how to make a sentence in a just a few lessons. Now all memorised things make so much more sense. Jihun will teach you Korean in proper order and it will be easy to understand. I'm very glad I found him and will for sure stick with him till I'm fluent. Many thanks to him :)

I had the pleasure of attending one more exceptional Korean class and every single class I've been impressed by Javi’s teaching style and expertise. His passion for the Korean language and his dedication to ensuring I felt engaged and empowered were clear (Also he is a funnier guy). The lessons have been brilliantly structured, making even complex grammar points easy to grasp, and there was a perfect balance between theory and practice. The professor’s patience, dynamic use of multimedia, and insightful cultural explanations made every class interactive and enjoyable. Their detailed feedback and commitment to my progress were invaluable, creating a learning environment that was both motivating and highly effective. I feel more confident in my Korean skills and highly recommend this class to anyone seeking an outstanding learning experience.

It’s always a great time learning with Javi! The first portion of class was a conversation where we talked about our week. He’s not only interesting in a way that makes conversation easy, he also teaches more natural phrasing to help me explain my thoughts. For the second portion of class, we reviewed some sentences that I wrote using a grammar point I learned earlier this week. He congratulated me on the things done well, corrected my mistakes, and gave more natural phrasing. For the final portion, we checked out some screenshots that I sent containing expressions and slang that I didn’t understand. He explained them, even giving relevant examples. For the ones he didn’t know, he even made guesses, which helped me see more of how native Korean speakers think. I left feeling so happy. Thanks to Javi’s help, I don’t only feel like my Korean is improving, I also feel like I’m learning how to make actual connections with natives. It’s so awesome 🥳
