My name is Debbie. With 40 years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping children and adults enjoy learning Afrikaans and English. I am an approachable and reliable teacher. I take pride in my ability to teach and make time for my students. You need never feel afraid to ask me anything. My main purpose is to help YOU! When one has taught for as long as I have, you learn to "read" your students and then adapt lessons accordingly. You will never feel alone in your new language journey because I will be there for you all the way! I have been working with Debbie for more than six months, and I have improved my Afrikaans so much by taking lessons with her. Debbie is kind, friendly, and passionate about teaching. Debbie is amazing as a teacher!! I had other two Afrikaans teachers and they were hard to understand but Debbie knows what she is doing and started from the very beginning and slowly for me to understand better.
