Hello! I’m Mariam Jane, a 24-year-old educator from the Philippines with a strong passion for teaching and a dynamic approach to learning. I hold a degree in Special Needs Education and have over two years of experience teaching English, Filipino, and Cebuano to both children and adults. I also provide tutoring in Science and Math, supporting students in both academic and personal development.

Being a teacher is a wild mix of passion, patience, and knowing when to crack a good joke 😄. My teaching style is simple: I break down tricky topics into bite-sized, easy-to-understand lessons, no stress, no pressure, just good vibes and learning at your own pace!
I love creating a relaxed classroom where students feel safe to ask questions (even the “Is this a dumb question?” kind because there’s no such thing!). When it comes to lessons, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I always plan based on each student’s level so if you're a beginner, don’t worry! We’ll start from the basics, nice and easy. 🧠✨

The teacher accepted moving the lesson from 8am to 10am when I messaged the teacher that I had trouble sleeping and was afraid to oversleep. This willingness to show consideration gives me a good impression of the teacher's character.
