Mathilde

I look forward to every session I have with Mathilde to speak French and learn how to speak better. Mathilde is fantastic, she is very patient, even though my French is not good, and listens to me and gently corrects my mistakes. She speaks just slow enough for me to understand most of what she is saying, and just fast enough to help me improve my listening skills. Conversations with Mathilde are truly "sans stress".

Mathilde is an amazing instructor. She is passionate about languages. This comes across when she is teaching. She has high expectations and does not allow her students to take the easy way out. But she is also kind and friendly and punctual. Many friends and family have remarked that my French has improved remarkably! I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Exactly what I needed! I studied French for many years when I was younger, but never developed the ability to comfortably hold a conversation. Now at 50 year old, I really want to try to actually learn to speak French with people, and Mathilde did an excellent job of putting me at ease and helping me to develop the confidence to actually try and converse with someone. I have already booked more lessons!

Mathilde is very easy to talk to and she gently guides the conversation. I have learned a lot and I feel more confident in my ability to speak French.

It is not possible for me to praise Mathilde enough. Today I wanted to try a speak in French about the changes in the communication of news over the last 100 years. This was a very difficult subject for me to talk about in French because it really forced me to remember and properly use much of French vocabulary and grammar I have tried to learn. While I am sure I did not do a great job, Mathilde gave me the confidence, and occasional assistance, talk about this complicated subject in French!
