Hello! My name is Jasmon! Yes, my hair is naturally red! I'm an English as a Second Language teacher online and I do e-commerce business. I was born and raised in the state of Kentucky in the USA; but now I live in Atlanta, Georgia USA. I absolutely love to travel, visit parks, get lost in libraries and try out new foods from other cultures!
I have lived and visited many places internationally such as Costa Rica, France, Germany, Belgium, The Bahamas, Guatemala, Holland, England, Luxembourg & Spain. From May 2024 until June 2025, I lived in Merida, YUCATAN in Mexico. I speak fluent Spanish, intermediate French and basic level in a two other languages (Turkish & Portuguese).Ik als leerkracht
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Anthropology, with a minor in English, from the University of Southern Indiana. Learning Spanish wasn’t easy for me at all. I spent years studying but not speaking enough, and I felt stuck at a B1-B2 level for a long time. Once I started actively using the language—speaking, listening, and making mistakes—I finally began to improve. That experience really shapes how I teach today.
I have three years of experience teaching in classroom settings, I have 3 years of experience teaching ESL online. I first started teaching in 2014 in Atenas, Alajuela, Costa Rica at Green Valley Academy and that's when I became passionate about teaching ESL. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
In my classes, we focus a lot on conversation, especially speaking and listening, because that’s where most students need the most practice. We also work on vocabulary, useful expressions/phrases, note-taking, and sometimes short readings with discussion to help you sound more natural and confident.
I can help you prepare for exams like the IELTS, improve your business English, job interview practice, document writing help or just get more comfortable speaking without overthinking.
