My name is Yeji Kim, and I am a master’s student based in Washington, D.C. I have lived and worked in Korea, China, Canada, and now the United States, and I speak English, Chinese, and French in addition to my first language, Korean. My lessons are structured yet flexible. We use the Talk To Me In Korean textbook as a guide, while adding authentic materials—short stories, news, song lyrics—to deepen context. I balance speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a focus on pronunciation and natural expression. Grammar is explained simply, with plenty of examples so you can apply it right away. I mix drills, free conversation, and cultural discussion to keep lessons interactive. I adapt to your pace and goals, helping you progress steadily while enjoying the process of learning Korean.
