I am Asterios and I grew up in 80s-90s Athens, Greece. I have spent a big part of my adult life living abroad, in Spain, and now in Germany, where I have been living for the past 5 years. I love travels, cooking(eating!!!) and playing music, namely guitar, harmonica and percussion. I have always loved learning languages and getting in touch with different cultures. Through my different encounters I have gathered a few expressions and basic words, in a number of languages, some close to the ones I know and some completely irrelevant. The way I approached my learning process, has always been basing it on interests and necessities at each time, my goal being firstly to communicate and connect!Ik als leerkracht
I love language learning but sometimes, I lack the discipline to sit and write an essay, or study grammatical forms. I have explored various ways of tackling with this problem, implementing things I like to do, like for example watching a favorite film, but with the dubbing of the language I want to practice, or deciding to analyze lyrics to a song I like in this language! This is the type of playful energy I try to have in my classes. I am here as a teacher, but from the perspective of a fellow language learner, who wants to share some tricks and accompany you to advance faster on your learning trip! One does not have to be fluent in a language to get across the message effectively and that is the premise on which I base my lessons. The basic goal of my classes (at any level you might be) is to improve your communication skills in Greek, and gather a personalized handbook of vocabulary and expressions, based on your every day needs. It was my first lesson with Asterios, and it was better than I expected. He is very supportive, friendly and easy to talk to and discus all the various elements of learning Greek and ways to improve various aspects, etc.

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Asteris! Before the class, he contacted me via the app to introduce himself and check in. He then started our first lesson by getting to know me and my learning goals better, and suggesting ways we can incorporate my interests into lesson planning. He has a very supportive, relaxed teaching style which quickly made me feel comfortable and took away my nerves around making mistakes/conversing in greek. I especially liked the use of some old greek commercials to practise listening :D
Looking forward to learning more greek with Asteris!

Asteris es un excelente tutor!
Ha sido muy creativo, animador y se aprende muy bien con sus ejemplos y guías.
Tiene un material de estudios muy divertido que ayuda a prestar atención al 100% y reír mientras aprendo.
