Ryogo

Just for context, I booked a lesson on Italki to better improve my Japanese that I have been learning for about 2 and a half years. I had a trial lesson from Ryogo, I'll probably book another lesson again next week, he's very friendly, very thorough and very understanding. Just from the trial lesson alone, I actually learnt a couple new words and phrases, and a new grammar point that was new to me, something that textbooks never taught me but still seemed very useful. Whenever I didn't know something, or if there's a better way to rephrase something, he'll type it in chat, so that you can look back on it later, which I find extremely helpful. He also seems to have a structure in place too, which makes me think he'll probably find out what level I'm at and go from there. I'm definitely booking another lesson in the near future. Highly recommend Ryogo if you're looking for someone like what I just explained earlier.

Ryogo-san has a great energy and tailors your classes based on which aspect you want to improve. As someone looking to improve my conversational skills, he teaches me new expressions and helps solidify my speech. He is also very relaxed, and it feels like I'm talking to a Japanese friend who is a pro at teaching :D. Ryogo-san is also just a fun person to talk to, which is important if you're looking for a conversation partner. Ryogo-san,　いつも楽しみにしています！

Ryogo-sensei is great! He makes the sessions fun and is very personalized when it comes to what he teaches. He created a restaurant scenario to practice with and it’s helped a lot with feeling more secure about my trip to Japan! I highly recommend taking lessons with Ryogo-sensei!
