Yolotzin's lessons were focused around things I was interested in (which we discussed in our first meeting). She speaks in Spanish for the class which has helped me with listening. The classes vary in content style a bit, which keeps it interesting for me. We've done readings, role plays of dialogue, matching words with meanings, and listening exercises. I'm in a weird semi-intermediate spot and she asked a lot of good questions to help figure out what I needed to brush up on and what we should dive into to help me learn.
Her homework assignments are fun and have a lot of creative writing so you can make it about whatever you want. We review it at the beginning of every class. She's been very proactive about asking if the amount was too much or too little. She always asks if I had any questions while doing our lessons or if I didn't understand anything and is good at explaining what it is.
