Miki-sensei is an incredibly patient teacher! She is so kind and caring. We reviewed a lesson from the Genki textbook. I look forward to continuing lessons and reviewing using Genki as well!

The Genki textbook-based lesson is a great alternative to Miki-san’s other offerings. It focuses on a set of grammar points, and gives you plenty of practice until it really sinks in. It’s a great starting point for beginners, laying a solid foundation. That said, even if you’ve already gone through the textbook and understand the material, it’s easy to forget without actually using it. This class helps you put that knowledge into practice. If free talk or reading isn’t your forte, this is an excellent option. ✨📚

We talked for a bit, and then I read for the about last half of the lesson, and asked questions, got clarification on things I didn't understand. The story is simple to read, but complex to comprehend (I think). I like the challenge! Thanks Miki Sensei!
